My name is Michael, an amateur writer living in Northern Virginia (by way of Maine, where I lived for twenty-eight years, and Texas, where I was born and raised).
A life of extensive travel, associations with and observations of a heck of a lot of people, along with my age and looming mortality have shown me the many complexities and varieties of life and our human responses to it. Most creatures have at least one story in them and I enjoy trying to find it, even if it means getting a bit "creative."
I hope you enjoy what I have chosen to present so far, and will return, as I plan to have more. Not promising "The Great American Novel," but in time I want to have lengthier and more complex stories presented here for your reading enjoyment.
